I've just finished a session with the new software.
I installed it on my Surface Pro 3, running Windows 10.
Very fast and responsive, I did have an issue connecting because I left E6 open. I shut that down and the ST fired right up.
Thanks!
JKurz - can I ask how you got the Skytrak connected to a Surface Pro 3? I have tried with no luck. It connects to my other Win10 laptop, no problem, but when I try on my Surface Pro 3, the program never looks for connections (doesn't work via USB or through network/wifi). I contacted Skytrak and they say it won't work with a Surface Pro 3.
FYI, looking above at Skytrak's profile, he currently has 381 posts. Ok, some are corporate and help Skygolf commercially i'm sure, but many don't and give out information and respond to questions and suggestions. Apple haven't responded to anything i've asked on Mac forums about whats happening with the iPhone 10 and iOS 15.
You guys are making it really hard to stay on this board. I wanted to test something with the firmware upgrade that I happened to notice with an old unit. Turned out to be a bad unit, but needed to be 100% sure. The link is posted.
I have the PC release thread sitting in an open window, I'm just waiting to hear back on something this morning. I actually had them pull the PC url and update it because we can't have people sniffing around behind the scenes. I promise, I will always post a link here before it even goes on the website.
Apple sent an email saying that they are under heavy volume right now, but I tried to submit another expedite request. To calm the worries, there are no problems at all with the app...there was just something turned on that wasn't supposed to be.
why pull it then? why hold it from the pc users if its ready? by the way it works nicely!
what are you going to change honestly? thought you pulled your dev team to help with the sim software
That v2.0 iOS was mislabled. But you have 1.4 firmware because you have used the PC app (it upgraded it). The iOS and PC app will read only v2.1.1 and will be versioned correctly here on out.
The problem was with the battery indicator percentage...that is removed but you should still have a battery bar-type indicator.
SkyTrak_Seth On my Ipad mine is reading software 2.1.1XXXXX and firmware 1.4. Is this possible? Also, I have only installed the original PC version from the website for software version 2.1.
I am confused?!?!?!
Also, what happened to the battery indicator? I used to have one.

But the IOS version has to be approved by apple, the PC version doesn't. Seth said that they had it approved but had to tweak something small after and just send it back in for approval.
I think it's just an email to let folks know that aren't on the forums about the PC availability. I'll post another update here soon with v2.1.1.
Seth, what's causing the delay of v2.1 (and now v2.1.1) for the iOS? I'm assuming that if they are out for the PC, there shouldn't be any hold up for the iOS especially since iOS was the initial platform.
