Wgt club tournament?

I set up skytrak country club on wgt. I then invited other skytrak users. My question is can we play tournaments on wgt. I set up 18 hole tournament on chambers bay from my pc entered the tournament. I then proceeded down to the cave fired up my skytrak no tournaments listed? So i played chambers bay tournament anyway. Went to pc checked results no score??

wgt replied skytrak users are unable to play in club tournaments. They said skytrak users have skygold so we are able to play closest to the pin and strokeplay only.

So many empty promises and continuous lies. Read the forums, I just happen to be more vocal about calling them on their BS.

kind of hard not to read em. Kind of entertaining at times. Just wondered where all the hate was coming from. I've got a launch monitor that allows me to hit balls in the basement. I'm hoping that my game will improve in 2016 so I'll have to let you know later in the 2016 season what skytrak has done for me. I'm not getting any younger my goal is to be scratch. I'm running out of time and my hdcp has never been lower than 2.2. Far from scratch. I need more gir to get there! So to be continued i guess

There's no hate here, just honesty about a company that has screwed it customer's with false promises. When I got my unit back in March 2015 I was told sim software by the summer. Then it was the fall, then it was winter, now when is it going to come out?

My comments are direct and without bias. I owned a skytrak from March to December and used it alot and really liked it as a launch monitor.

But here we are discussing this in a WGT tournament thread. And like I said, surprise, surprise this isn't available to skytrak users. So again, going back to my non-hateful comments, it's not surprising that there's another release that doesn't pertain to skytrak.

Yet they continue to market themselves as a golf Simulation Company......What a joke. Unfortunately, the jokes on the people who have bought skytrak thinking they were going to get golf simulation VERY SOON. Instead they have Wade Hampton with no chipping or putting.

I can go on with all that's lacking in WTF (sorry, WGT). I bet you $100 that there will be multi player online play with WGT for online players, but unfortunately it won't be available to skytrak users.

All the above is correct. The company's deceptive business practices are what has rightfully earned it the ire of a lot of consumers. I also owned from April to November. I'm very glad to have gotten out. Will be going the GC2 route.

I hear you. I bought it for working on my ball striking during the off season and test equipment, gapping etc... Hopefully i won't be so rusty in the spring. For me wgt is a bonus. I enjoy the challenges. I haven't even seen Wade Hampton! I'm using ipad hdmi to tv net.

When deciding on monitor, i narrowed it down real quick to gc2 and ST. I wasnt going to buy a used gc2 so the price difference ultimately was the factor for me.

Don't you find the yardages off in WGT? Trust me, once you play TGC or Perfect Golf, you'll go, ahh that's what luv was talking about. I just find that pounding balls only goes so far for me, I need to play full rounds. I want to THINK....... am I better off to hit a draw or try to hit a cut to that hole location? Can I carry that bunker off the tee? WOW that was a breaking putt......I can go on and on, but for me, the range can only take me so far, I need to play.

Don't mean to droll on, but I'm in the Pacific Northwest, so I've been playing IRL the last 2 weeks and have a tee time tomorrow. Being able to take all aspects from playing indoors to outdoors without missing a beat is great, who'd of thought it was affordable and possible 3 years ago.

I hope you get to scratch, for me it's short game. Good luck.

i find my long stuff way off in wgt more so than ST. In ST i found that it was me because of swinging fearful on my follow through. Although as I've posted several times ST matched my Gc2 driver avg exactly at the dome hitting range balls that should have already been put to rest. If only i had more height in the basement. I can swing my irons naturally and wgt seems ok with them. I'm a challenge rat on there.
I have learned a tremendous amt on carry numbers on all of my clubs and I've got all sorts of ways to getting to different numbers inside 100 yds. I've never had that before. I'm sure I've improved. I've never hit so many shots inside 100 in my life.
Last year, I was averaging 9.7 gir. I figure if i can get that up by 2gir im scratch as long as my putting remains solid.
Driver in play and sharp irons and we both hit our goal. You have a much better chance than i do. I would call it success if i could get to 1!
