Hey Seth. I pretty much right now use the driving range. It randomly freezes where the laser will turn off like it going to show the shot but does nothing after the second shot it shows. So basically after hitting for 15 minutes or so it would only register every other shot and still sometimes stops and changes back to right handed where I would have to exit out and re start sky track to get it back working correctly.

Apple app 2.2:
Briefly used it. The installation was smooth as usual. On the first launch, I logged in smoothly. After that, everything was slow. Looks like it was attempting to sync behind the scene. I switched to network mode successfully, but was extremely slow. I went to Practice, but it turned fast and smooth there. I think the sync stopped there. Loved the new target greens and the display of the green hit percentage. Ended the practice session and it became slow again. I guess I had a lot of data left to be synced. I will use it again tomorrow.Comment

Have given Skytrak a good workout today now my iPad is using v 2.2.2 & it's mainly a thumbs up Seth.
I haven't been able to sync since before Christmas but today, on & off the network, everything syncs perfectly.
Have even been to the range in direct mode & all the shots have synced once back home. Great work Seth & the skytrak team. 👍👍👍
The only niggle is the laser takes longer both in direct & network mode to come back on between shots. Not outrageously long but hey ho, We've got shots syncing, I can live with it.
I'll add more tomorrow after I give it another workout ;-0

I'm gonna reset my iPad and maybe re-install v2.2.2. But it seems like the delay after you hit a shot until the top green light comes back on..as well as the laser..seems to be a lot longer than before.Comment

Prolonged delay compared to previous version is still there for me. I deleted the app, reset the iPad and reinstalled the app. I also had a couple freezes. The top red light would just stay light and not turn green. I had to end the Session and start a new one to get the green light and laser to turn back on. Restarting the app and Skytrak several times did not remedy the issue. All the new features are nice....but I'm finding it pretty buggy.

Hey SkyTrak_Seth I took the iPad down for the first session with 2.2 (In direct mode). Generally it seems good and the slight draw/hook bias the unit has had on occasions was not evident. My level was spot on 0deg for tilt and +1deg for roll. I did have a couple of freezes though that I've not really suffered before. One in practice mode. I'd hit a number of 7 irons fine, I changed club to a 4 iron and hit the first one with a bit of a top shank. It took a while to calculate the shot but eventually did. I then deleted the shot and then flushed a 4 iron out of the middle, The red light came on as if it registered the shot but stayed on. I quit out of the app and restarted the unit (I tried to change clubs ad stuff but it didn't force it to work). The second freeze was during a single player nearest the pin after a regular shot. I quit the challenge back to the main menu and went back in and it came good again.Comment

Longer delay to turn laser on for next shot???
Really happy with all the changes in V2.2 except this.
Was a change made to the interaction between the ipad and ST so that it will not accept a new shot until the simulated ball has come to a complete stop and a total distance has been displayed? Before, you could get a good idea of the shot quality, and then hit the next without having to wait for the animation to finish. If I've hit a fat or thin shot, I'd just assume not to have to watch, and move onto the next. It seemed like before, the laser would come back on as soon as the images were passed to the cpu, and now it seems that ST is waiting for a handshake back after the animation has completed.
If it's been done to improve overall performance, a reasonable trade. However, so far feels like f o r e v e r compared to the previous version.

Seth, I agree with everyone else that the iPad v2.2 is buggy. I'm also experiencing the occasional freezes like everyone else, the top light would remain red and laser wouldn't come on. Ending the session and restarting the unit would unfreeze it. This has never happened with prior versions. On the other hand, I do think that distance now seems to be more accurate. Time for v2.3. Let the waiting begin...Comment

Ok @SkyTrak/Seth, I think a found a way to recreate a situation in v2.2.2 of app where laser dot never comes back: Go into range, hit your first ball, then click on 'X' to delete that shot (you must delete the very first shot and from the range screen not in History), then the laser dot never comes back. If I exit range and then go back in everything is ok again. Tried couple of times and both times laser dot never came back unless you exit range and then go back in.Comment

Hmmm. Couple of times of started my range session, first shot before warming up so not good, deleted it then laser dot would not come back. Exit range and came back and all was good. Will try again but was hoping to maybe help give you a lead to this app freezing issue people have been experiencing.

SkyTrak_Seth / Seth, another problem. Since upgrading to v2.2.2 of app, did couple of sessions. I see both sessions in my SkyGolf 360 account but under History in the app they do not show up? And Status says "SYNCED"? How to force it to manually sync? Thanks.Comment

So you're saying that your data synced to the cloud but you can't see it in your Profile>History? Were they practice sessions? With or without practice greens? -
Yeah data synced to cloud but not in my Profile->History? In another thread (http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/...on-skygolf-com) I think a few others are seeing similar problems...
Were range practice sessions with practice greens.
