Anyone else having issues with their unit not reading certain clubs? I have a couple of utility irons and a 3 wood that register maybe 2 out of 10 shots. What's the deal? This is frustrating.

Haven't marked the balls. I'll try that. Unit is level. Works fine with every club other than my utility irons and 3 wood.

If your launching real low the shot might be below the camera's view. Make sure the skytrak is the same height as your hitting surface and if it is try hitting those clubs behind the laser dot further from target. That will give the shot a bit more time to elevate and hopefully be in the cameras view.

You could lower the unit so the laser dot was only 11.5 inches from the unit. Remember the height of the unit must be set in a way that the laser dot is between 11.5-12.5 inches from ST. 11.5 would make the unit lower of course thereby helping you get those low launching shots into the cameras view. Just a thought.

I have always had trouble with fairway woods/hybrids. I've tried different colored heads and it doesn't matter. I too think the ball is launching too low, because when you really focus on swinging down on the ball to get it launched properly they read fine.

how far behind the laser did you move it? when you geto one to register what is the launch angle. If the LA is under 13ish degrees try moving it back about 2 inches behind the laser up to 4 inches behind it. You will find the sweet spot for your ball speeds and launch angles eventually just keep experimenting. I was in the same boat and after a few sessions and experimenting Im getting about 1 in 50 that dont register as opposed to 1 in 4 when I started.
