  • License Validation

I am unable to get the skytrak TGC Interface to validate the license. I have been able to connect the box but when I go to the settings page I don't have a Machine ID filled in there it is just blank. Has anybody had an issue like this or resolved an issue like this? I have unistalled and reinstalled the software multiple times and always have the same result. When I click into the actual TGC software EXE a machine ID is there and I was able to enter the code from protee and get activated.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am itching to play this!

You need to make sure TGC is installed on your C: drive and in the default installation directory. Installation on a different path or drive will cause issues with the SkyTrak to retrieve the machine ID.
Do not use the TGC software EXE to license the software. When you have a SkyTrak you need to use the TGC for SkyTrak interface.

    Hope this helps.

      Protee,
During install they automated to the D drive and following the instructions I did not alter the folders. However D is the default drive that software is installed to on my comp. Are you saying it has to be the C drive? Also I used the TGC software EXE to license the software initially (I know I should have read more carefully). What can I do now to fix this issue?

Should I contact Protee or skytrak for an issue of this nature?

You can uninstall using the windows uninstall app features and the reinstall.
