TGC for SkyTrak Interface Update

Looking for a couple of volunteers to test an interface update. Please send PM if you are experiencing problems like phantom shots and you are able to reproduce it.

This is a TEST version, so if your system is working do not send PM !

Skytrak is way too flakey, not impressed with mine. I just bought a gc2 to compare, we'll see.

Luv2golf........? While I'm disappointed with this particular issue I still have no problem with my skytrak in general. Once they get this issue fixed things should be mostly fine.

Please send over the link. Starting last night, anytime a ball was moved onto the dot a phantom shot was hit... this started out of nowhere and was repeating constantly.

We updated the original installer to install the latest versions.

Just run the original installer you received from SkyGolf and reinstall. It will update to the latest release.

Latest SkyTrak interface is 1.4.1. This version will show on the screen where its says "CONNECT BOX" and "PLAY GAME".

Was the "intaller" in an email from skygolf? I have perused my mailbox and can't find anything?

I had issues intially because my purchase happened prior to an official release and I snuck in the backdoor but not sure where to find this intaller.

When I run the installer, it has checkboxes for both the TGC Interface and the TGC game itself. Do I need to check the box for TGC to re-install it? Or is the only change with the Interface? Comcast caps my data usage, would like to avoid a 5GB download if not needed!

I ran the update, and I am still seeing 1.4 as the version number.

You probably tried to update while the program was still running in the system tray (in the background). The installer will not be able to overwrite the old program when its running.

Try to reboot the computer to make sure nothing is running, then run the setup again.

Do you recommend that everyone update to 1.4.1? I have no problems with TGC and Skytrak. Should I still upgrade?
