    Skytrak iOS vs pc

Just wondered what those who have used the iPad version vs pc feel regarding strengths/differences of one vs the other. (If any). Which do you prefer?

i have both and the only advantage the ipad has is the ability to go the range and be less "clunky" the laptop can be clunky. But the ipad is nice to just be able to put in the bag and bring.

I have to say, I'm using a used PC with XEON 5450 cpu and GTX 460 gpu. The skytrak works really fast since version 2.3. I'm able to hit shots after shots with almost no wait time. It's even faster in E6 as well. I believe CPU and GPU make the experience different night and day

You could use a 5 year old computer and have it be slower than an iPad Air 2. You could use an iPad Air and have it be slower than a brand new computer Just depends on the processor. Particularly with iOS, every generation that comes out gets about 1 second faster. Soon those will be down to the 2-3 second range of the fastest PC's. I don't see it getting much faster than that though.

Are there other software differences? It seems the iOS version is only 4:3 on the iPad (?widescreen from a phone). Any other major differences?

PC and IPhone can go wide screen from my experience. Love PC connection at home but can't beat the iOS on the road.

I've used both and found the PC version to be more temperamental when it comes to connectivity using Windows 10. For this reason I always default to the iPad version.

I use my iPhone 6S+ on the road but PC at home (it's running E6) so i do both depending on the circumstance too. I think it comes down to how much you think it's a hassle to either AirPlay to a monitor/AppleTV/Project HDMI and connecting it all the time.
But i think ultimately, if most people opt for TGC or another Sim then the PC version will end up being more popular for convenience.
