  • TGC Player Name

    This is a two part question...

    First to ProTee United - Is it possible for you to change my TGC user name to "jrz" so it matches my forum name? When I created a TGC account it gave me an error that the user name I had selected was too short so I went with "joeberni". I realize this is most likely a form validation thing and not a database field requirement so if there is anything you can do behind the scenes it would be greatly appreciated.

    Second, when I play TGC I see my full name and I was thinking that this was because I was logged in and playing as myself. I assumed that others would see my login name of joeberni, but when I went to look at the spring tour leaderboard on this forum's website it also showed my full name (and the full name of a few other players). While I realize we are all best friends (except for one of you.... you know who you are :-| ) I like the idea of being known as joeberni or, if ProTee can come through I like the idea even more of being known as jrz in TGC and on this forum.

    What did I miss when it comes to changing how your name is displayed in a round and on the leaderboards?

    First thing you need todo is update your player name in TGC. It will accept 3 characters.
    PLAY->PLAY ROUND->EDIT PLAYER->CHANGE PLAYER NAME.

    Don't forget to save/exit.

    This will then show the new name on the live leaderboard here on the frontage of the forum. It will also show your new name in the game to others.

      I have a son who is left handed, is it possible to create another user. So he doesn't have to play under my profile and change the settings all the time?

        Unfortunately you cannot. Hopefully this will happen with the next update or two.
