  • Demo unit ?

I was curious how many purchased demo units for their sky train? Would love to save some money but with what I've heard about their lack of support it can be a little concerning to think about. What's everyone's opinion on buying a demo vs new unit?

I purchased a demo unit during the June sale and have been very happy with both the product and the support. I needed help getting it registered and they were able to fix the issue over the chat window.

Have had my demo unit about a week. Used it twice: once at the range (hit 15 drivers and it didn't pick up a single one... Once in my garage and it seemed awesome... Except for drivers. It picked up my driver hits, but they were all very short (I'm talking 220 yd total) when I normally go about 275. This isn't my first time hitting balls in my garage, and I even took a few where I was really trying to swing hard, to no avail. Searching last night, I read that maybe I should move the ball backwards from the laser an inch or so, but I haven't tried it yet.

Any other ideas from anyone would be much appreciated!

My drives are just about correct...but my good ones only go 230. I know you mentioned you hit inside your garage before but I still say it is because you are hitting indoors. I am just about use to it now but before I swore my skytrak sucked - meaning shots only went 80%.

As for a demo - I looked at it and decided for me the savings was not big enough for me to go demo. My rule of thumb in general 25% off for demo from retail, used 50% off.
