  • TGC + Skytrak Winter Tournament

We have just got our new indoor room set up and downloaded what we feel is the best software available (TGC). We are going to be running a winter indoor event for our members. 9 holes on maybe 8,9 or 10 courses over the Winter months. Are there any courses that people can recommend to play? Which are the best? Which are the most fun? Which to avoid? Cheers, Chris

I would look at the ones we use for our tournament here - they all seem to be good ones.

I agree. Look at the courses used for the TGC Tour. There are many options.

Thanks for the advice, that makes complete sense to use some courses from the TGC Tour. Is there a way for me to make them just 9 hole events as I see that the TGC Tour events are over 18 holes

Check out this designer's site.... http://clvgolf.com/ He has published his top 100 favorite courses. His recreations are top notch.

          Also.... check here http://blog.tgctours.com/

Now a few of these courses are designed for console play, but most of them transition well over to the sim. As you play, make sure that you save the courses that you like to your favorites. I have about 100 courses so far.

I just made a 9 hole par 3 course to play with some of my friends who aren't avid golfers. It's called Eastlake Village Par 3 (ProTee). It's not incredibly detailed like some of the very intricate courses out there, but there are some unique holes on the course and it's a fun play.
