New Skytrack....now which Sim software?

IN the middle of building my mantown simulator. Just ordered my skytrak launch monitor. I'm up in the air and looking for input on which simulator software. I will be using a pc....which will for the short term be my screen and eventually be connected to short throw projector. I am a Scratch golfer and am looking to have a mantown that I can entertain in, playing rounds with friends/client at the house. My understanding is that this means I can't use WGT because you need an iOS. I'm leaning toward TGC but read somewhere that all of the greens on this run at a 6 and make the short game a little less unrealistic. I saw a youtube video of a guy playing Augusta on the Nicklaus and that looked pretty good as far as realistic green speed etc. Looking for input, pluses and minus' of each because unfortunately skytrak doesn't have demo versions available.

In my opinion TGC hands down. The realistic feel is far better than any other sim software currently offered and the support of the Protee United folks is amazing.

The issue with the greens has just been updated and fixed. Look in the TGC threads

Hi mate, I am an active user of JNPG, in my opinion there is a place for both of the great software options we have. I can only comment on PG as I don't have TGC. Green speeds can be changed and multiple tees can be used, local and online multiplayer is available and there is a great online community as I am sure there is here as well. For my money PG is as realistic as it gets and with course forge just released you can design your own course. I would suggest to try both software options without the sim first and see which you prefer. Cheers Jase.
