I ordered mine today. Gary is great to work with. Looks like a very nice protective device. Did not feel comfortable with the ST plastic case. Peace of mind Now!!!

I just sent payment for the case and shipping. My address is included in the PayPal payment. Please let us know when these are going to ship! Is there a way to see how close we are getting to 20 orders being placed? Will you send out the specs for screws for mounting & leveling?

3 orders placed. Need about 10 more to place an order. 1/4"-20 for leveling hardware. 6mm x 1.00 center hole. 4mm x .70 smaller holes.

        Thank you for the order.

Hey guys, I have the prototype and have tested both in range app and playing 3 holes in TGC. No mis reads. I want to post pics, but this is a rough prototype and it's simply ugly. I need to shoot it with a coat of paint. For the record, the case that you guys buy will be black oxide coated and will be nice. The logo "Armour" will be cut after coating to make it pop.

        Gary:

Are the leveling feet from your renders something that can be picked up at Home Depot?

Shardak - Those are from mcmaster carr. I actually asked at Home Depot one day and the person said no. A hardware store would sell "elevator feet" which is what I've been using.

Here is the prototype guys. Still a little rough for my liking, but I'm not much of a painter.

Will post more when paint dries. I've got no tournament rounds in this week and need to get to it. Damn the luck!

Man that looks solid Gary! Even my buddy Keith the Shanker won't break through that, lol

DirtyGarry24 how thick is that base? Or how high up will the skytrak be off a flat surface? Just wondering what the shortest height I'd need to raise my mat to get it level with the base.

I just sent my 149 for the unit. I am from Canada and would like it to stay more heavy duty as it hopefully will withstand a direct hit and am willing to pay the extra shipping for this.

How close are we to getting the first batch made??

                    Thanks
                    Craig

I had an awful round in TGC this afternoon guys. I'd love to blame it on TGC, but I can't do that. I was getting drivers going 30 - 40 degrees right on me. I'm sure it was something to do with the case. I know the window is not the issue as I've tested before. There's a couple areas that could be causing. The rough proto does have some issues. Another thing I noticed after the fact is that I had some fuzz on the window that could have been causing some issues. I'll get back on it tomorrow, at a gathering now drinking away the frustration.

This is good stuff though, I need to work through these quality problems before I get it to you guys. I needed to get this off my chest though as my tgc handicap of -1.0 is gonna take a hit with the 84 I threw up there this aft.

One other addition. I did not see these issues in the app or the 3 holes I played earlier in the day. It was baffling for sure. I had washed and wiped down the case real good before painting and really feel that towel fuzz could be the issue.

Ok hope this gets rectified to ensure that the final product does not cause bad reads as that would be counter productive.

I won't send you a case that causes issues. Just want to be transparent.

Hey guys, played 21 holes in TGC this morning after some adjustments to my case. No missed reads and only one bad read. I'm confident I can further refine that. It boils down to alignment errors created by the shop that built my case. Welds in the way and holes not drilled to print. The production manufacturer will be much more accurate and I can make some tweeks to the design to better ensure that. Gonna continue to test and tweek the design and give updates as needed.

Have a great New Years Eve guys!

Gary, that's reassuring that you are doing the quality control and being completely honest with your updates instead of rushing to the market and potentially releasing a product with defects. That is certainly the sign of a professional and lets me know I invested in the right person & product. I can't wait to see the finished product and have it in hand to try out! Happy New Year!

I agree very well done. I also can't wait to have it in hand. Hopefully others jump on board so we can get the production run going soon.

Played 18 this afternoon at Magnolia (for science). 1 no read and 0 bad reads. Was pretty damn happy with that setup.
