  • low battery warning after charging

is there a definitive thread on this issue?

I have seen numerous posts about it but no answer. Some guys plug it in then that, start this and then that. Is there a correct way to start both the application and the unit.

I charge directly in the wall, run the pc version. I have a bunch of user friendly type issues with this stuff. My register message said 15 days when I first got it, never seems to connect without manual intervention and apparently registered itself and that nagging battery issue is a really not good deal.

I read all of the glowing messages, so what is the secret to intervention free functionality?

    Thanks.

this occurred to me today....The skytrak app said low battery but it really was not. I plugged it into a wall for another 15 min and tried again...all good. this is the first time this occurred for me, but I have not used the skyrak app a lot. Should use it more now since winter is here

I'm not clear on exactly what your question is, but if you're asking how people charge the unit, I have mine connected to my laptop via USB cable, so it's charging all the time. ST has asserted here on the forum that the unit cannot be overcharged, and that leaving it charging all the time will do no harm.

If you're asking about how to connect the device, I click on the ST app, and while it loads I press the power button on the ST. The app opens, connects automatically to the ST box, and the red laser dot appears. The app at that point should be giving you a screen with three activities to choose from - the skills challenge, the driving range, etc. I pick one and start hitting balls. The only "manual intervention" required is to power on the laptop, open the app, power on the ST box, and select the activity desired. If you want to connect via wi-fi, that's one additional step.
