  • Outdoor set up tricks???

This may have been covered before, (if so sorry) What tricks have you done to use your Skytrak successfully in the wide open outdoors environment? I.E. like coping with sun and cloud cover.
    Thanks

Umbrella or something to cast a shadow on the the unit I would guess. I have used my ST outside for 1000s of shots and have never had an issue. I have the good fortune of not having sun shine into the unit face on most of the time. But still has never been and issue.

I use my SkyTrak exclusively outside and have not had any issues with direct sunlight (or lack thereof).

I tried to use it at the range once, but was hitting off grass. I hit about 15 shots and not a single one registered. These were all driver off from a nice high tee... Maybe there was still enough dirt/grass spray to mess up the cameras? Sun was not shining into the cameras.

I've used my ST outside with minimal success.

Does anybody have pictures of their setup when using it outside with success?

Mine is the SkyTrak sitting next to the mat... nothing special...

Same here.... ST in the case next to mat. (Direct Sun, Overcast, Dusk, and Night with lights). No issues reading the ball.
My only issue (unrelated) is Driver seems to be shorter than real life.
