Just ordered Skytrak. Need help.

My skytrak is in the way. I am going to connect to a PC with USB. Does the unit have a full size USB out or a mini USB out? Does it come with a cable and how long is it? Anything else I need immediately?

Its pretty dark in my basement/driving range. Do I need a special light source shining on the ball?

The Skytrak does come with a 6 foot USB cable / detachable 120v power plug and it uses standard USB on one end and mini to connect into the Skytrak. I use my Skytrak in a fair amount of darkness with no issues! No special lights are needed.

After setting up the Wifi I leave mine plugged into the power outlet seems to work out well.

It sounds like many people use wifi to connect. I dont have access to broadband Internet where I live, so I dont have a wifi network set up. I hope the USB connection works ok.

I use USB almost exclusively, and it works just fine. Some users believe they experience fewer no-reads when using wi-fi, but I don't believe ST itself has ever commented whether one form of connection is somehow superior to the other.

I only use USB . No issues here.

The lighting is a non-issue. Enjoy your skytrak. I run my USB and wifi direct with out issue. Off Iphone, Ipad & PC...
