Trackman Indoor Gear Effect major update delayed

Originally was gonna be in April, but just heard from Trackman that they delayed to mid-May. FYI.

Thanks for the heads up. Finger crossed on this one - it can be huge for indoors practice and would swing many buy decisions between GCQUAD and TM.

Definitely promising. If they can provide better spin axis calculations with this indoors, GCQ will have serious competition. A relatively open sim hardware platform, integration to pretty much all the key players.

The update is to improve spin axis accuracy?

Any ideas how they will do this?

As I understand the main reason of the inaccuracies come from the heel and toe hits especially in long clubs. The current algorithm used in indoors mode seems to under-estimate the non-center hits on side axis. No idea how but the new firmware update is supposed to do something about it.
