I am pleased to report that the customer service at Trackman is second to none. Jimmy K at Trackman Sim support was able to install TPS 7 remotely so I can keep TPS 6.3, which is the latest version that is compatible with TGC2019, and still run the new TPS 7 and Virtual Golf 2. He did not update the firmware from 1.8x to 1.9x yet, as he said a newer version would be released I believe this week. This is a big deal, and it speaks to TM's willingness to listen to their customers and allow us the freedom to get the most from our investment in Trackman technology, kudo's to Trackman and Jimmy K! I hope this helps my fellow TGC fans.

Which do you find works better with Trackman 4; TGC 2019, or Virtual Golf 2?Originally posted by clubchampx9 View PostI am pleased to report that the customer service at Trackman is second to none. I've attached two videos where I'm playing hole 1 of Murifield Village, one video is TGC2019 and the other is TM Virtual Golf 2, both using TM4. This is the first time i've ever recorded a video so they may be longer than you might expect. I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting those! No doubt in my mind that Virtual Golf 2's rendition looks more natural and detailed. I think Virtual Golf 2's approach of storing the course file on the hard drive enables it to feature more vivid and unique course objects, not to mention far more authentic looking bunker lips. TGC 2019's course data is mostly stored on HB Studios server. As a result its components are more generic looking. They still look pretty sharp, but they lack more environmental distinction.Originally posted by clubchampx9 View PostI've attached two videos where I'm playing hole 1 of Murifield Village, one video is TGC2019 and the other is TM Virtual Golf 2, both using TM4. I agree, thanks for taking the time to post these comparison videos. I find it very helpful. I think the TM Virtual Golf 2 renders significantly better and looks significantly more realistic.Originally posted by clubchampx9 View PostI've attached two videos where I'm playing hole 1 of Murifield Village, one video is TGC2019 and the other is TM Virtual Golf 2, both using TM4. Is there anybody in the IL/ WI region who would want to rent out their TM4/ TGC2019 rig for a day (and operate it)? I need to set up a temporary simulator at a golf resort in WI in a few weeks and it has to run TGC2019 to preview a new course. I have a sim in my basement, but I used a GC2 and it gets too many misreads for the event.
It would be on a Sunday and you'd also get to play some great golf while there.

I wonder if you contacted the local sales rep and asked if they might loan you one of their demo units? It’s a long shot, but perhaps worth a try.Originally posted by Wang View PostIs there anybody in the IL/ WI region who would want to rent out their TM4/ TGC2019 rig for a day (and operate it)? Hello
I will receive my TM4 this week-end (moving from Uneekor to TM4 !) and was previously playing on TGC2019 (I have developped a couple of courses I still want to play).
Are you able to use TPS6.2 and 7 on the same windows session ? (no dual boot ?). If yes, any suggestion on how to install two different TPS versions on the same PC (better to share the info here) rather than asking individually to TM support
thanks

Dax thanks for your congratulations....it's a real dream coming to reality after 15 years of semi-pro fitting activity and 3 years of indoor training (and after getting vector pro, zelocity, Flightscope X2, Uneekor QED).
I went through the whole FAQ but nothing about TGC and having both 7.2 and other version : https://trackman.zendesk.com/hc/en-u...re-or-firmware
so any info from those who got a mail from support would be welcome !

Tbraden32 and Dax - I couldn't help myselff and have contacted the support, I got an answer within 5 minutes !
So, I don't know how you guys are doing but according to support, it's not possible anymore !Unfortunately, we do not have the option to run two separate versions of TPS on the same machine. We could in the past but it is not something we support anymore.
If you would like to run TGC from within our software, here is the link to download TPS 6.3:

Any advice ?

clubchampx9 Hi - as nobody could help me with a procedure you ve found in order to be able to run both tps6.3 and tps 7.2 on the same drive (or at least one on a usb stick from what I ve read elsewhere), it would be great if you could share with me your method.
thanks in advance
