Trackman change of ownership fee

Hi everyone

I'm an owner of a FlightScope X3 and I need a battery repair. I have a Trackman 3e coming to replace it while my FlightScope is being repaired. Do I need to pay for the change of ownership to use the software in iOS?
I have to use my iPad not the previous owners and I don't use the windows software.

I think you can connect with the app with no need to complete an ownership transfer.

Not quite definitive but I have connected to my pros TM4 on my iPad and it’s prompted me if I want to take control or just go in to viewer mode. The fact it’s asking me if I want to take control suggests you me I could just direct connect to it fine. I’ve never selected to take control though.

Flightscope offered you a Trackman 3e for a rental? That sounds like sleeping with the enemy scene

No I purchased a secondhand Trackman while my FlightScope will be in repair. This is just before the virus hit out and now I don't have lessons at present as we are in lockdown so I need to hold tight with my expenditure but will likely pay the change of ownership a few weeks post lockdown but will have no FlightScope to coach with so will hopefully use the Trackman during this time.
