for those who are not on Michael's facebook page (Golf simulator forum (higher end), I share my post :
Since I got my TM4 a couple of weeks back, I've tried to check how accurate was the indoor launch angle measurement. TM3 is indicated as being accurate within 0.2°.
So far, I was measuring the impact point on my screen and deducting the launch angle. I was always noticing a lower angle on TM4 than the one calculated with the impact point.
This time I've tried to capture the ball launch using my Iphone 11 camera. The result is not perfect, but I was able to measure the launch angle thanks to Kinovea and Photoshop's ruler.
My conclusion is that my impact screen measurement method does not seem to be highly accurate and that the TM4 is accurate.
I let you go through the presentation and let me know what you think of this method. It would be great to see other LM owner running the same test (maybe with a quicker camera than the iphone 11 @240fps)
So, if LEO MODE wants to have a go at it with his TM4 and QUAD, it would be great to see which kind of result he can get !
