    Why is TM4 so expensive?

I used one the other day at Five Iron Golf and I really like it. Also like the outdoor capabilities. The quote for a full custom indoor setup was $64k though, whereas other providers like FullSwing, AboutGolf, HD, etc. are all in the $41-50k range for full turnkey custom install.

Then there's foresight that's only like $35k for Sim-In-A-Box with install.

What's the TM premium for, just radar tech and to have what the pros have? Anyone have pics of what their Sim-In-A-Box setup looks like?

It was (and still probably is) the gold standard for data. It was the most widely accepted unit for accuracy and they've used their PGA use to get name recognition and similar to Apple products, demand that higher price. Also, the technology inside the TM4 is way more than just a simple radar.

That said, if you're looking for mostly indoor golf with occasional outdoor use, I would definitely lean towards a "Sim-in-a-Box" set up with Foresight. Their sim software isn't the best (right now), but they're supposed to upgrade to FSX Play in 2022. Their camera based systems are arguably superior to TM and other radar measurement devices indoors. Also, you can see by the adoption of the PGA tour players, the GCQuad is the go-to device right now
