E6 Demo (with skytrak) questions

I'm trying the demo and really like it. Only two things put me off renting it for a year.

There does not seem to be a way to determine whether the skytrak has been set to putting mode, normal mode, or short game mode, nor is there a way to change the mode if (for example) you want to putt from just off the green. Possibly as a result of this playing around the greens is very hit and miss(read). Also there is no way to re-arm the skytrak if the top light stays red, I have to come out of E6 and go back in.

I don't mind using 'auto-score' to do my putting for me but it putts out from greenside bunkers!

Finally, the meteor tracer is nearly invisible and the solid tracer is an incredibly ugly black line that obscures the ball. Particularly at the range it's unusable. Old tracers don't fade and you end up with a mess all over the screen.

The only thing I have noticed that I dont like with e6 is the view for chipping. I have, say a 20 foot chip and I can only see the few feet around the hole. Pitching and long putts I can see the whole view. Anybody else have this issue and found a solution? Trugolf, if you're following, anything I can do about this or is a solution coming?

There is a similar problem if your ball is right next to a stone or in undergrowth. There doesn't seem to be a way of actually seeing the area around the ball to determine if a shot is feasible until after you've made the shot and are viewing the replay of your 3 yard carry.

Yep I can see you point about chipping. It is a little akward. I did not see an icon to change to putting mode either.

Yeah i am in this group as well. I downloaded the demo really like the game, im a high handicapper so i dont know if my swings are just inconsistent but some shots particularly driver seem to get higher distance than the skytrak app but maybe im just giving it a whirl i guess.highest on a monitor was at golf galaxy of 260 yards and i havent got close to that on skytrak about 223 i think is the most and that was total i believe on both. Everything else seems to be about right so maybe i just gave it a great poke on my drives in e6, neither here nor there thats not why im here to complain haha. The putting in the demo is non existent from what ive dealt with. When im on the fringe i have to chip and soft chips dont get read so i have to hard chip send it over the whole then go by my putt rules of 6' in 1 putt anything over and up to 35' 2 putt and anything longer is a 3 putt...terrible system i know but still it gets me by but i'd really like to figure out what is up with the putting and chipping modes on e6. Any information wuld definitely be helpful!

To see your lie , simply click on your ball and hit the red arrow to go to it.... you will then see your ball, you can zoom in or out
