new to e6 and have a question in using the software

OK...two questions really - Is there anyway to save a login user - every time I start the game I have to login - anyway for the game to remember my username and password. Also, every time I play I have to reset my settings - big golf ball, TV view, 10 second pause, auto flyby, etc. Any way for the game to remember these are the setting I want.

thanks...love the feature where you can pick which holes to play - just finished playing the par 3's on the first course.

First question, not that I know of, if there is let me know :-)
Second, yes there is a way to save defaults but it is not intuitive. I am at work so I dont recall but seems you have to be playing a game but there is a defaults button in upper right and a choice to set defaults.

Answers to the questions...
There is not the ability to always have a frequently used player profile saved. We have already built this into our new engine coming out in October.

To save defaults, put the settings where you want them as if you were to start a round then back out to the main menu and under "other" there is save defaults.

I think he means their connect product....but that is pretty much vapor software for sktrak. I believe it is finally out for some platforms.

Trying the demo, it sucks. Is the real thing better. The demo disconnects from SkyTrak easily and now can’t even connect to begin with. I open and login to SkyTrak then open the demo and “play” does not highlight as an option so can’t connect or login

I use e6 and do not "log in" to SkyTrak. Just turn on the device then click for the demo.

I never had connectivity issues with E6 1.6. I did a demo in Oct and have been live for 2mo. Never once had issues, putting no reads sometimes from 10-20ft, that’s all. Huge fan of the software for multi-player and in round practice. Not sure of Connect for Skytrak timing or pricing (whether it will replace 1.6 offer or price as according to the site). Also not clear if Connect release for Skytrak whether TruGolf will continue support for 1.6 and for how long. A few forum users been lurking on this topic and awaiting official words.
