Performance difference between iPad Pro Models for E6 Connect?

Are there any performance benefits with getting a newer generation iPad Pro vs cheaper gen 1? This will only be used for E6 Connect and Flightscope apps.

Probably not much performance difference. All iOS devices will be limited to 640x480 graphics resolution (with E6C), unfortunately, and frame rates should be similar. Will look ok on the device, but you'll see significant pixellation if projected.
