So I'm running with a Flightscope X2, which is performing really well. Running the Flightscope apps on an android tablet pick up every shot, including driver and long irons, but also surprisingly, some pretty small chips. I am running in short indoor mode, and it is working really well. With the lockdown in place I'm looking to run some sim software, and this afternoon I played a round with my son in the E6 Connect demo, to see how it worked. The shot detection was terrible. I couldn't play with my driver, 3W, hybrid, 4i and 5i, as it just wouldn't detect the shots. I could get it to pick up some of these shots if I played with 75% effort, but nothing more. Similarly, it was not especially good at picking up small chip shots. However after the round, I switched back to the Flightscope apps and immediately, all these shots were detected 100%.
So I guess my question is, is this normal? Why would the E6 connect not pick up the shots but the Flightscope app is fine ? I'm going to contact TruGolf support about this but would like your opinion as well.
