e6 1.6 at PGA Show. Carry is too far. OF shows 178 carry while e6 1.6 shows 190 carry.

This seems to be equal to Foresights data compared to actual numbers.

I dont understand why any company would boost numbers. I get SIM business owners trying to provide maximum fun to alcohol buying clients, but why make it inaccurate out of the box?

That's funny bubba22. Nothing is perfect but at least ours didn't cost us $40-50K.

Would elevation not be a factor? The pic is of a mountain course where elevation above sea level could be over 4,000 feet., which when compared to sea level could explain most of the difference.

That's possible but I believe that's the driving range for e6 1.6. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, elevation changes are not part of a course, you can change them for any course.

I would think they probably have a boost on. What hardware was used to hit that shot?

I know e6 has boost option no matter what hardware tho...

I will need to check as I thought there was an option to set play on e6 to the elevation of the course or to what ever you choose. If this is the range, then I suspect it would be what ever they have the elevation set on. I agree if they are boosting the numbers maybe it was to make the guy hitting look good in front of the crowd.

I think this was on a FullSwing golf system.

Well I did plug in some numbers from another e6 1.6 video, I think it was the closest to the pin from their track man contest, and it was right on.

I imagine they have the boost on for that presentation. Unless fullswings flight model is that messed up....but that's unlikely.

It could be from full swing as I know for TM that e6 uses the numbers that TM provides until it hits something in the e6 world and then e6 takes over. However if you can boost from e6, then that might be the easiest thing for them to do.

I just talked to a sales rep at TruGolf. E6 Cloud won't be compatible with ProTee until at least April. They're starting off with SkyTrack, Trackman, Xi, etc. support first. But ProTee should be added later on.

                                FYI,

There is no online play as we know it. There are online competitions or events that you can participate in such as longest drive or closest to the pin contests but no online turn based play.
