So if someone has a few mins, some helping deciding between these would be greatly appreciated! I don't know much about pc's but I have somewhat of a vague idea of what I want. Any other suggestions on a pc or somewhere other than amazon would be welcome as well. I do some gaming as well as the simulator.

3 would work. But I would spend a couple hundred more and get 1 or 5. Just my personal opinion. I picked up an i7 with a rtx 2070 on prime day and am really happy with it.

Thanks Kal. Do you by any chance have any experience with iBuyPower? Quite a few horrible reviews on amazon about them.

iBuyPower has a shoddy history as a PC Builder. CyberPower is much more reliable and I have used them in the past.

The one I bought was an Ibuypower. I have no complaints. Skeet is way more knowledgeable about this stuff than me. It serves the purpose I bought it for. I may be kicking myself later if I try to upgrade.

So the best is the Alienware as its pretty much 4K-ready out of the box with that GTX1080, HOWEVER... I think that its a little bit expensive given the other components, plus you are locked into DELL motherboards.
All will work but what I try to look for in a PC build is a motherboard that is able to accept future upgrades. Many of these pre-built computers use really cheap motherboards that can at the max run the chip they are using. AMD's big thing right now is the push from their 2nd gen chips to their 3rd gen... That means that you would need a board that is an x470 or B450, or X570 board. My opinion would be to try to get this: which has a middle of the road Graphics card, but you can always upgrade in the future to a 1080 or 1080ti for 4K
Or this which has a ryzen 7 3rd gen and a better GPU
The newer the chip architecture for processor, means the PC builder is generally locked into using a newer board (especially with AMD) which in turn allows your cpu to optimally use higher ram speeds, which in turn makes your CPU more efficient.
Sorry a lot of technical stuff here. But basically, the newer the CPU chip, generally, the newer and in most cases, better the underlying components will be, while allowing you to upgrade in the future based off that board/chipset.
I like Cyberpower as a PC Builder:

I'd rather spend the money on a 2070 vs a super variant.
CyberPowerPC gaming computers are built by gamers for gamers. Customize gaming PCs or choose a prebuilt gaming PC with components from top brands today.
Also that variant comes with an i3... Spend $50 to upgrade it to an i5 and you're in business.
