hi have a customer running gc2 and the desktop computer has one port hdmi working with monitor and the second port hdmi doesnt seem to be working to projector. any troubleshoots

Remove the projector HDMI, then switch the monitor to the other HDMI port and see if it works. If it does, then the HDMI ports are good. Next, remove the monitor and hook up only the projector to each HDMI port to see if that works. If the projector on its own works over either HDMI port, then your issue is probably within software configuration on Windows/Mac. What operating system and what video card are you running? -
I agree with the troubleshooting steps from abirdie4me
I also had some issues with distance to the projector and some HDMI cables not working over longer distances. So I had to bounce between variations (including the nightmare of fishing cables in and out of walls) to finally get a cable combo that worked.
Of course, it could also have been a Windows10 issue.....Comment

Also make sure the two HDMI ports are on the same video card.Comment
