Any suggestions for Antivirus programs?

Brand spanking new desktop. I don;t have antivirus yet. I'm thinking of doing it soon. Is there anything I should know about? Or any suggestions on what I should get?

Interesting question as I also have not installed any on mine and the only thing I use it for is to play TGC. How critical would you say it is to have antivirus if there's no web browsing or anything going on? Just TGC interface and that's it. I'm guessing the answer is still "yes, absolutely get it." But I was curious about this.

Windows Defender should be all you need. It comes by default with Windows. Just make sure you are setup to automatically update your PC overnight. I would also recommend adding an add blocker to your browser such as uBlock Origin.
