  • Ceiling Protection/Ideal Hitting Distance

I want to get everything designed before I start building so I don't run into too many issues. I will be using a GC2 and my ceilings are 10'. I am trying to decide if I need to run an angled net or use baffles to protect my ceiling or if I can just use the screen only or just don't hit certain clubs (LW and maybe SW). What is the ideal distance to hit from? I am thinking somewhere around 9' from the screen.

Angled net is easier and cheaper. If I was farther away and was trying to really elevate and also hit hard maybe I would want baffles but when I'm indoors I'm not worried about that.

Really the only time I'm coming close/hitting ceiling is when I'm hitting flops out of greenside bunkers.

Thanks for the response. If you don't mind, how far are you hitting from your screen and what is your ceiling height? Do you hit full LW's?
