envision here is a link. Its nice but I am putting a layer of those soft floor tiles for kids (the multi colored ones that are 12"x12") under it to help stop bounce back and to level it out with my hitting mat.

I am having a oversized two car garage (24'x31') garage added to my home currently. I plan to add a simulator using the sportscreen method as people have used here.

Does anyone know if these can be installed on an angled ceiling? I attached a paint drawing to explain what I mean, I will have plenty of flat ceiling space as well if it can't, I just feel off to the side of the garage would be ideal

If anyone is possibly in the same situation I contacted sportscreen and got a very quick response (I know in the past people have had trouble getting responses in a timely manner).

They said,
"...yes that should work just fine. Depending on the height you may need an extension piece or a custom made size. As long as you are anchoring it into studs it can be installed like that."

Did you sew the hem in the bottom of your screen and attach the velcro yourself or can you order it that way?

I attached the screen myself with some industrial strength adhesive velcro. The rod pocket in the bottom of the screen was sewn by a friend...I'm sure you could order it that way though

I've got a Sportscreen (10' manual) in my garage as well. I installed ikea curtain track rail to the ceiling along the sides and behind the screen and hung netting (approx. 6' x 12' x 6') from the ceiling. To protect the curtain tracks and roller, I cut 8" strips of 5/8" plywood & covered them with 1/2" closed cell foam and vinyl. I hung these header pieces from the ceiling with small (4") shelf brackets.

I attached a 10' x 10' HQ2 screen with velcro to the roller and installed the metal bar in a pocket at the bottom of the screen. I attach 3 bungees on each side of the screen with tarp clips and clip them back to my garage walls when I'm using the screen. I'm really liking this setup, I can set it up or take it down in 5 minutes...the noise & bounce back is minimal and the picture quality is great.

Not sure if my description painted much of a picture. Maybe I'll take a couple pictures tonight and post.

Mike did you order your screen with a pocket or can you order it that way? Same thing with the velcro, can you order it that way or what type of velcro did you use?

I feel like I could built a manual crank attached to a pole and have a similar setup to a sportscreen with very minimal cost and a little legwork. Has anyone else gone this route? If so I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks, but I'm looking for the roller shade components to attach my impact screen to. I'm not familiar with the sportscreen but it sounds like a multipurpose screen more than an impact screen. Is that the case?

I have been on the lookout for a trailer/camper awning. Very similar to sportscreen, maybe a bit beefier. Should be able to find used hardware for under $50

Sports screen was not made for golf. Its basically a giant shade that someone can attach a hockey goalie target to or a catcher. I have a 16' one in my garage. You get an impact screen and attach it to the same roller and the sports screen.
