Go full width or stay centred?

Hi - I have a 4m (about 13' 1") wide room. Should I put a screen all the way across and hit about a foot to the right of centre or build a 3.7m wide enclosure offset to the right wall so that I can hit to the middle of the screen? I just can't tell how distracting it would be to not line up with the screen or even if 1 foot off centre would even be noticeable.
I doubt there will be any left handed people using the sim so that isn't a factor
    Thanks

Hi Percy, my room is 4,5 meter and I put my tee in the center. However it's tight and someone with a flat swing might hit the wall. I'm guessing you have a 3 meter wide screen. I would put the screen off center in the room (to the right) and still try to put the tee as close to the center of the screen as you can. I had an off center setup before and it was weird.

You're not wide enough to go to the centre but the software can offset you so it's not noticible at all.

Does FSX support offset or just TGC?

Is it possible with TGC to switch the offset for each shot for a righty and lefty? I'm assuming it's saved per the profile?

No, we never thought about this. Great find. We will put this on our feature list.

ProTee United I know I'm reviving an old thread but can we anticipate the above lefty and right offsets to be saved per profile in the next major release😁

It would make a huge difference in gameplay for me and my damn lefty friends
