Need input on bounce back / rebounding ASAP please - This is the last straw

Hi guys,
I'm desperately trying to fix the rebound with my current setup. The pictures below show the structure of the frame which is 11' wide by 8'3" high with 4' sides and top. The whole enclosure is built out of 3/4" EMT and the screen has sleeves sewn into the edges which accommodate 3/4" PVC. The PVC which holds the screen up is wrapped around and behind the existing frame and is tensioned with adjustable nylon straps. Behind the Supertex screen is a heavy duty moving blanket held up to the top of the frame with tarp clips which are tie strapped to the top rail of the frame. Behind the moving blanket is a black nylon type material support panel which is tie strapped to the frame.
There is so much bounce back that this setup isn't usable. I've tried tightening everything completely, loosening everything to the point of terrible picture (because of all the waves and wrinkles), and I just cannot find a configuration that works.
PLEASE GUYS, give me some advice and help me get up to speed with this setup.

I don't know how much help I can be because I am using Partopro HQ screen. I can tell you I think it is very important that the screen itself be supported by "bungie" cords that stretch. This allows the screen and the attachments to the screen to both stretch during impact. I also have NO backing, netting, blankets, or anything behind my screen and it works great. I have had my setup for almost a year with no issues. Also, I have no tie down points at the bottom of my screen and very few on the sides at the bottom of the screen. I have a little waviness for movies, but I usually tighten a spot or two when watching movies and then loosen them when playing. In your case can you take the PVC out of the bottom sleeve and see if it improves things?

I just removed the pvc from the bottom and completely detached the black support panel except at the top. All straps are extremely loose holding the screen. I just tried it with a PW from 9' away and it bounced back to me on a fly 😭

Lot of people use impact screen + net + sheets or foam for minimal bounce.

It looks like you are wrapping the screen around your frame. I think i've seen these before, but i would think that this is contributing to your problem. I suggest to pull out the pvc poles from the supertex, fold the supertex over on itself and use tarp clips with adjustable bungees and bungee to the side of the frame. Not pull it back around. I used the supertex, i got rid of the pvc poles on the sides and used tarp clips and bungees and I did see a reduction in bounce back. My frame is different though, i'm only using an upside down U, attaching at top and sides. Bottom is completely free. I have since switched to the newer direct from mill screen and only use tarp clips all the way around. In this picture, it is backed by PR20 and a net.

WBOND is correct. You cannot wrap around the poles. The screen must hang free supported by bungies. Otherwise there is no give due to friction against the metal. You just need to cover the sides to hide the gap at the sides. Easy fix. the pics certainly helped.

When you guys talk about attaching the screen with bungees are you talking about premade ones with hooks or just a roll of bungee cord that you tie?

This is how it is attached. Sorry for being sideways. The bungie into grommets is for the backing screen. The tarp clip is what holds the screen. I got a box of 25 or so bungies from harbor freight. and the tarp clip from Home depot., I use about one every 2-3 feet on top and sides

I would think the moving blanket isn't helping on high lifted slower shots because it doesn't allow the screen to absorb the impact. I have the supertex screen, silky black sheet (to hide the net lines showing through), and then a net. This allows the screen to kind of swallow the ball up and it drops down.

Are you talking about a normal black bed sheet? What kind of net and how is it attached?

No I bought raw fabric. It's just very lightweight and somewhat silky. Net is made for golf and was bought off Amazon. It is attached with bungees on the sides.
