  • Build frame using EMT or purchase a Net Return?

I was planning on building a net frame using EMT but I'm kind of worried about shanked shots coming back at me if I hit the frame. I decided to just use a net for now and not an impact screen. I'll add a TV next to me for sim. So after a ton of time reading the forum, I have 3 options. I have a 1 1/2 car garage and will like to have the ability to take down the net quickly for garage access.

    1) Hang a net from my garage ceiling without a frame (use PVC for top and bottom only)
    2) Build an EMT frame and add a net from WCN
    3) Buy a net return.

Does anyone use an EMT frame but only use a net? How's your experience with shanked shots? I'm new to the game so there will be a lot of shanks...

Also if anyone has a net return pro to sell, msg me ... Thanks,

I built my own frame with emt and net at first, then added a screen. After two seasons I decided to get a net return pro and was ver happy with it.

my son had a couple errant shots and worm burners and it's dangerous coming back at you full speed. It didn't happen often thankfully!

i really liked pairing it down to the net return pro with side barriers and using a monitor to the side. So much quieter in the garage was a great surprise and I just used the gc2 for range practice.

My net return is in storage at the moment, along with a touch screen monitor.. in between houses so I was thinking of selling it, just expensive on the shipping side though..

If you want to sell your net return let me know. Shipping using fed ex shouldn't be too bad. Thanks

I was planning on getting the net return and instead I chose the emt route. I got the 10x10 cage because I have some players who I won't trust lol If it was just me who will use this, I would have gone the net return route.
