Went to Joan's fabrics and got Velcro and a heavier weight black material, not canvas but close. It was like $130 but I had Black Friday and other coupons to take it to $90

Got the projector up finally. So this is it. So far just netflix, but I am looking forward to hitting balls. Way happy I got the 3000lumen benq. It is usable in daylight but not contrasty, so I can see ambient light being an issue, but in the evening and at night it is bright and contrasty even with the door open lights on. Super excited.

it was a minor pain to figure out a ceiling mount in my head to move it around for aspect ratios, but I kept it simple in the end with L channel aluminum and a wood block that slides easily and I have it plenty of throw. Between the zoom and distance it is overkill but i am covered.

Nice build. Where do lefties like me get to play from?

Lefties can play all day long In the simulators that they make with their money!

Cabinets and storage are infinitely more important to my garage build than the ability for a lefty to play. That said there is still room for a lefty there.

Just curious how far is it from the PJ to the ground. Does the PJ move back for Sim?

Nice set up! I went with a 10x10x10 cage down my basement and it made my basement look small. I may copy your set up in the future because it is compact and very clean looking.

Not sure on projector to ground, it is about at top of my sim so 8 ft? Is moves on the rails I made so it can fill in HD widescreen and 4:3 sim play. Sim play it is basically over the ball.
