QUESTION: How to protect a floor mounted projector?

Hey all, this forum has been incredible and you guys are nothing but helpful. A great find!

I'm putting together my simulator and am going to do a floor mounted projector. My screen is 12'wx9'h and I'm hitting from 10'. The projector is going be sitting at about the 6' mark using a 4:3 ratio. I'd like to build a protector for the projector but am also open to buying one if it is reasonable. Does anyone have any plans to share or a source?

I built one using the below as a rough guide. The one I was able to find online was too expensive for what you get IMO.
