Currently my setup is in my garage and I am using a Net Return Pro Mini and it works great (no projector/screen and I'm fine with using the PC or a TV). The challenge in the garage is 8' ceilings so I can only hit 5 iron and that grazes ceiling once every couple sessions. I really want to hit driver.
I have a deck that is mostly covered which is pushing it for space but may work. My challenge is there is a support beam that is right in the middle of my width that costs me 11" of depth (i.e., it sticks out 11" from the spindles on the railing) so when I put my Net Return against it I don't have quite enough room to feel comfortable swinging.
Does anyone know any nets that have a very short depth that don't throw the balls back at you (as I will also be standing pretty close)? I need to be able to collapse the setup reasonably quickly.
I saw the Swing Box that seemed like it had a fairly thin profile but didn't appear to be high enough to hit short irons or wedges and there didn't seem to be info on it since about 2012 so guessing this thing never took off.
I know people say the minimum from the wall for a screen is about 12" but not sure what I would rig up as a net that wouldn't extend too far or fire balls back at me.
My house teases me as I have 3 almost perfect areas for a sim setup and all are short 12" to 24" in one direction from being perfect with no way to modify the space.
