Material between net and screen

So I read on here that a black sheet between your net and impact screen was the way to go....

Well I was putting up my new impact screen (raw mill) and I doubled over some excess screen and the picture is much better and brighter where the screen is doubled over vs the black sheet below.

I think I will replace the black sheet with my old supertex impact screen and see if that is better than the black sheet.

Is there a gap between the doubled over part? This is pretty crazy. With as thick as those mill screens I can’t believe it makes that difference

No gap. All hung from the same EMT.

I rehung it so the folded over part goes over the crossbar. Nice and consistent now.
