  • Attaching Blackout Commando Cloth (Chicago Canvas) to inside corders....

Hello All! I just finished framing out the screen of our golf simulator, however, I'm looking for ideas on how to attach black Commando Cloth (Chicago Canvas) to EMT frame and trim around the screen bungies.

I know tarp clips work great for attaching the canvas along the outside edges, but I'm having trouble visualizing how this works on the inside corners where the bungies are. Do I need to cut holes in the black canvas to run the bungies through so I can wrap the canvas around the frame and clip it with the tarps?

Thanks for any advice (and pictures).

This is what I used on my Commando cloth. Worked out great!

I used tarp clamps. I used Commando cloth right behind the screen (touching the back). I've just got my set up and running so I can't tell you if this will work well in the long run........ so far so good. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would used Commando cloth on the sides and maybe even the top.

I am in the same boat as OP. I am having a hard time visualizing how to attach the canvas to the EMT, I was planning on doing the foam insulation around the pipes as well, under the canvas. How do you all have the EMT enclosures wrapped?

I took a knife and cut a slit in the foam so the bungees were tight against the pole, not the foam. Also, the Harbor Freight kit above I mentioned worked super well for securing my Commando Cloth.

I used these to secure the commando cloth to 1" EMTs: https://www.amazon.com/Mtsooning-Gar...dp/B073J89DSK/
It's a tight fight but can be removed (not very easily) if needed.

Closer look at the clips used at the top section of the screen to cover the bungies.
