After months of research, ordering and waiting, it seems this will finally be real very soon after my simulator arrived over a month early! Got the EMT today and building the enclosure is step 1. Starting with fresh spot (see pic in garage attached). The question is - as you can see in the corners I have depth marked out from the "wall" (shelving) in chalk. Moving out 1 ft from that and then Carl's (using their fittings) says has to be 1ft minimum depth for enclosure so using that is current plan (for a total of 2 ft). Anyone done only 1 ft depth enclosure or so and had any issues with stability or anything else? I may go a few inches more if I can but want to be able to get cars in still and wife is already annoyed
. Also you can see the edge shelve at top which is basically the "wall" I am staying 12inches from... does screen bend less right at top/could I go a bit closer to that to set the entire enclosure back even 2-3 more inches? Thanks everyone!
