The weighted bottom bag, did you use it? I’m wondering if taking it off would reduce bounceback? Seems like I’ve had a couple people worm burn some into it for some funky ricochets too..

I don't. I just took off 2 bungees to reduce some bounce back.

If you bungee along the bottom of the screen, the weighted bag (or not) shouldn't really have any effect on the bounce back. Well except maybe for bounce back for a shot that actually hits the bottom EMT cross piece. That's the main reason I use the weighted bag and skirt.

I removed the weighted bag and Carl’s sent me thick memory foam to go over the bottom bar, the bumper protectors work great!

fortysixandtwo - I've been in contact with Carl's about buying the DIY enclosure. I've asked about a cushioner for the conduit around the screen for ricochet. They said they offer foam at $7.50/ft. So that'll be roughly $300 for the whole screen. But you're saying it works well, correct?

Very pleased with the memory foam bumpers.. I have them for the bottom and top and right side bar.

I saw another option that might be a lot cheaper though, someone mentioned a material used for gutter guards at Home Depot/Lowe’s. Maybe someone else can chime in about those..

My screen is only attached on top and sides and is fine.
