  • Raw screen material

We have only raw screen material. We may be able to finish the material as well soon. This project started as a thread called Direct from the Mill where together with suggestions from the community we designed the highest quality material and organized a group buy in order to reduce cost for everyone. At the time good quality screens were hard to find and being sold at outrageous prices. I haven't signed on in a while but I'm happy to see there are more options and more competitive pricing now. This is a direct result of our group buy and although the community will be the best to judge from what I can see there is still no other better deal for material of this quality anywhere. We still provide and have been providing material to anyone who e-mails us. Recently, as demand for our material has increased so has the workload and in response we have created a team to process orders faster and reduce lead time. This team can be contacted at fabric@worldmarkettrading.com and feel free to continue contacting me at dbgolf72@yahoo.com. For reference please see pricing which includes delivery to anywhere in the continental US.

MadMax Sorry to revive an old post, but was wondering about some details of how this is installed. Still got only tarp clips up top and 1 clip on the left side? Anything to weight the bottom? Seems like it would move a lot and drop balls behind your plywood floor. Also, what size is this screen?

For those of you have ordered, what is the production time? I ordered my screen last Thursday and have not received shipping confirmation as of yet on Tuesday. I am a little anxious to get the screen to start using it, but it seems like it should be shipped by now?

Anybody know if you can get this shipped to Canada (obviously at added cost)?

I'm trying to set up a hitting bay for my dad and Par2Pro isn't currently selling any raw/imperfect screens. Ain't nobody paying a thousand bucks for something to hit into.

Does anyone have any advice in getting rid of a few wrinkles? It had been up for 3-4 days and I thought they might stretch themselves out. Sorry, if this had been posted some where else. It is working great, I am happy with the product.

Apply steam and let it sit untouched for a day assuming your garage or where it is located is fairly close to room temperature. Otherwise, it will take 1-2 weeks for the wrinkles to fall out. It's worse in the winter where I live because most of the time there is no moisture in the air.

I was told they are out of the material until February.

Thanks for the info on getting the wrinkles out. I will try to use the steam method.

Initial post says raw material only and only continental United States. Phish828 I’m sure you could take it to a dry cleaners and have them see a pocket, pretty simple task for a seamstress.

I sent an email to fabric@worldmarkettrading.com in Dec. and never heard back (or is slipped past me in the Spam folder). I would like to buy a 13x10. How else can I contact you?

I am one of the people who bought dbgolf72's impact screen when it was first introduced 5 years ago. Now I am finally ready to build my enclosure :/ I seem to recall reading that the 2nd batch was better than the first. The question is for the fellow OGs who bought the first round of dbgolf72's impact screen: is there a significant difference in quality between the first screen and what one can buy today? Is it worth using the original screen for a new build? Thanks in advance.

Yes there was a big difference but no reason you can't use the original. The one today is like a 3 layer screen.

Has anyone with calipers measured the newest screen? Wondering how thick it is vs the Mills 801 and 501

has anyone installed grommets in this fabric? wondering if it will fray. Or is there another way to make it so it doesn't fray? sewing canvas to it then installing grommets on the canvas portion?
