  • Raw screen material

We have only raw screen material. We may be able to finish the material as well soon. This project started as a thread called Direct from the Mill where together with suggestions from the community we designed the highest quality material and organized a group buy in order to reduce cost for everyone. At the time good quality screens were hard to find and being sold at outrageous prices. I haven't signed on in a while but I'm happy to see there are more options and more competitive pricing now. This is a direct result of our group buy and although the community will be the best to judge from what I can see there is still no other better deal for material of this quality anywhere. We still provide and have been providing material to anyone who e-mails us. Recently, as demand for our material has increased so has the workload and in response we have created a team to process orders faster and reduce lead time. This team can be contacted at fabric@worldmarkettrading.com and feel free to continue contacting me at dbgolf72@yahoo.com. For reference please see pricing which includes delivery to anywhere in the continental US.
    Length(ft) Price

I am putting grommets in the OG screen fabric this week, so will let you know. There could be a trim piece required as you suggest. FWIW: The woman who's doing the job does simulator screens frequently, and when I asked her about tarp clips vs. grommets she strongly advocated in favor of grommets.

She is sewing in a sleeve at the bottom to receive a 3/4" solid steel round bar that comes in at 18 lbs. The plan is to let this hang just above the floor and let gravity make it taut, hopefully with nothing required on the sides. Then I'll run some gym flooring + turf up to it, to obscure the bar, both for looks and for safety. I'll report back on whether or not this works

I contacted the manufacture and this is what they said:

The difference is subtle, but one side has a little tighter weave. You can also look at the edge of the fabric and see stitching, this is the front side. Either side is good for hitting, the reflection is better on the smaller weave.

Can I use a garment steamer to iron out the folded wrinkles or will that damage the material?

I also noted that one side of the material is smoother to the touch than the other. I would assume the smoother side is the tighter weave. Since that is better for reflection, I'll make that the front for better image quality.

Light steaming is fine but I think using an iron is frowned upon. I would make sure you have it installed so the weight helps pull the wrinkles out.

14" sportscreen. So rollup is an issue. What size would be recommended to shift it back and forth to move the wear and tear? Also only 8ft tall so can be shifted up and down.

Hello, I was wondering if this is still available to order. I Have a screen from the 2nd batch order from dbgol72 a few years ago but my son is finally big enough and strong enough to put a hole in it...lol... oh well.. it lasted longer than I thought it would. It looks like I could just sew a patch on the back and it would be fine.... but I would rather replace it and use this one behind the new screen..

Good day! Got the impact screen and I am wondering which one is the front side that I will be hitting the ball and facing the projector?

Also, I got the impact screen 6 days after I send my payment.

I can attest that these screens are amazing. I contacted them to ensure they had material in stock. I received a quick response. Screen shipped the day they told me it would and received tracking number.
Screen material appears to be three layers thick.
I used a gt1090hdr projector and the image is incredible.
These screens are very quiet. Bounce back is minimal
i am extremely impressed! A screen from anywhere else that is comparable would cost double the price they charge.
My driver swing speed can be inexcess of 130 and ball speeds can reach 200. Not placing those stats to brag just trying show that I put screens through a lot and this it one has passed every test.
fyi: I have only had screen for couple days but hit at least 100 balls with many of them being driver.

I can also affirm great quality, and excellent service and quick shipping on this screen material. They quickly answered emailed questions, and shipped with tracking number within a day of sending PayPal. I have not installed yet. With all of the positive reports, and the current supply and demand issues I wanted to have one ahead of time. Thx

Has anyone purchased a screen recently? Are they still available?

I purchased one and received it in September. No issues.
