I need some simulator ideas for my setup. Could those with open simulator enclosures (those not against a wall) send me there’s? I just want to see what I can do for my space. Btw what’s a good enclosures fabric or plastic to use to cover sim enclosures? Thanks for the help. This is all I’m at as of right now

How big is your space (L, W, H)? Is it going to be a dedicated golf sim space or multi-purpose? Are there windows or other things behind your hitting area that need protecting?
Some folks have it in a garage where they need to park the car overnight in the hitting area for instance. It all depends around many factors. To your other question, I have only seen mostly fabric finishing in my research so far - can only guess that the ball might go through a plastic covering, but I don't know that from experience.

I did a freestanding garage setup. Details in this post...

Ideally the ball only hits the screen. I used a sports netting for sides, top, and redundant coverage around sides/top of screen. I also added a black denim fabric to reduce ambient light.
