I've had my simulator set up a little over a year now and have gone through two screens. I had to buy a replacement screen after only three months of use. To keep this in perspective, my ball to screen distance is 10 feet and my ball speed with my driver is under 140 mph. I was lucky enough to find a commercial screen that was being replaced in a business that had a lot of good areas that I could use as patches. My suggestion is not to dabble with patching small holes and worn areas, but rather to put a 4'x4' piece in the center and be done with it. I tried a couple of different adhesives and found that 3M E6000 is the best on screen material. You can get a tube that fits in a chalk gun for around $10.00 on Amazon that makes the job much easier. I hope this is helpful, Happy New Year

I cut a 3ft by 8ft piece from an old screen, placed it in the middle of the screen, and glued it across the top and bottom of the piece with standard fabric glue. Worked great for months and the cut piece did not ware out. The bounce back was also way better. Image was a bit split on the edges, but not bad.
