Max Screen size question for 13'3" opening.

Need some advice. I have a 13'3" wide spot for a screen (9' ceiling). What is the max width of usable screen I can do, leaving enough room for tarp clips and bungies? 12'? That would give me 15 inches total (about 7.5" on either side) for tarp clips and bungees. Is that enough?

If I do a 16:10 ratio, that would give me a 7'6" tall screen which seems pretty good. 16:9 would only be 6'9" which also probably works but a little less immersive. Of course, both of those heights come down if I need to go less than 12' wide (if I need more room for bungies).

    Any advice? Thanks!!

I have another question on whether I can do 16:10 for golf sim and then easily toggle to 16:9 for movies or video games. Thanks!

My room is 13’6” wide. I chose to go with 4:3 aspect ratio for a projected screen size of about 10’9”X 8’1”, which is offset to the right. This allows me to have the ball basically centered with enough room to swing.

16:10 would be great if you can get a suitable projector. I was worried about 7’ screen height feeling too short with a 16:9 setup. Keep in mind if you go this route, you’ll probably need an offset ball position to allow practice swing room.
