Anyone previously own the Supertex impact screens, and if so, for the price, what were your impressions? The HQ seems like a great product, but I'm trying to stay within budget.

leoapd I too am curious about the Supertex screen. I believe it has to be framed out with pvc and it may be easily dented or marked by hard shots from what I have read but I do not that first hand. The price is right. I might order one and use it for a while and maybe upgrade to the HQ/ par2pro screen down the road. Let me know if you hear anything.Comment

I actually don't change balls on my own. The balls normally split in a couple of weeks.
Do you have the net hanging on the ground ? And how tight do you have the bottom. I have two bungee straps one on each side to allow the net to move a little bit. It doesn't affect the movement of the net. Just absorbs the impact a little better. -

Definitely dont have much bungee tension. Behind the screen I have a couple of cotton sheets and a knot less net. Balls hit the screen, stop and drop nicely. Split the balls! You must have some good swing speed there. Mine doesn't see any ball speeds over 155 mph normally.
