Should bottom of impact screen be sitting on floor?

Just trying to get my screen perfect as possible. The bottom has too many wrinkles and it's bothering me. The bottom just touches the floor. Ive been looking at some of the setup pics on this forum and some have the screen sitting on the floor. Anywhere from a few inches to a foot.

Will this help me with my problem? I will definitely help with the ball going under the screen on thinned shots.

I personally like my screen laying on the floor... About 6 inches... The balls drop from screen and roll down
