NetReturn Nylon Impact Screen

Hey by chance have you installed the screen yet? If so, could you post some pictures, I'm thinking about buying it this weekend but haven't seen any pictures from anyone who has posted about it yet. I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Sorry I've been inactive for some time and to be honest, I still haven't had it setup properly yet.
It still seems wavy to me and I'm trying to figure out how to make it tight!

Shardak what wireless hdmi transmitter did you buy? I have about 40' and one insulated wall in between my pc and projector.

I had to go to opposite sides of the house, through several walls. The wireless HDMI kit would occasionally give dropouts.

I am using Steam Link now instead. The wireless HDMI gives slightly better picture quality (looks 100% identical to the input as far as I can tell), but I think I had too many walls between my office and the garage to get strong enough signal to eliminate dropouts. Maybe 1-2 times per hour it would drop out for a few seconds and reconnect. Not bad..but I was willing to give up a little bit of picture quality to use Steam Link which, while it still has occasional hiccups, seems faster to resume play after a signal drop. Eventually I will just get a new PC installed in the garage, but this is good enough for now.



If you are interested I would sell the HDMI kit to you for $100 (US shipping included).

I found another thread that has general reviews on the SuperTex screen which will be used in that version that Shardak mentioned. I decided to go with that one since it's about half the price of the Net Return version!

Let me know how you like it. My Netreturn screen is about 1 year old, and starting to develop scuffs. I suspect it is getting close to ripping.

It has side-straps to help keep the screen tighter and flatter. I made my own DIY solution with tarp-clips and bungee cords, but when my screen needs replacing, I will be getting this one.

I was actually looking at that one as well. Was debating between the Net Return version and this one.
I know there were a few ppl that were looking at getting the one you mentioned but I never found any with the finished product or a review on it.

I totally agree. Netreturn is one of the best hitting nets you can find. But if you are adding an impact screen then it starts to require compromises and some DIY patience to get it working. The inability to make the screen totally flat is a big drawback. The deflecting of wedge shots is another.

Those All-Sport setups look really nice, if I had more space in my garage the widescreen hitting bay looks great.

The nice thing with any of those setups is they can be built to any size really simply. If all you have is 8ft you can build it to that spec.

I didn't want to go as small as the net return but don't have the space for a jumbo setup and this allows me to fall somewhere in between for quite a bit less money as well.

Probably a great choose psw, I don't think I would go with Net Return if I was building a sim from scratch. I'm still waiting for my NR pro screen but I can already tell I'll be annoyed by it and upgrading the full enclosure for next winter. I'm just such a fan of the NR as a net that I'd like to make it work.
