Dug in to finish my simulator room this weekend. I'd purchased the HQ material from P2P oversize and was all set to sew pockets into the edges and slide 1/2 in conduit into them for attaching with bungee ball cords to my frame. I spotted these clips in the same place at home depot and bought a handful thinking that I'd use them to prototype and then return them.
Problem is, they've work GREAT. We jus simply doubled over the material, slipped these on where they where needed and started playing.
After 500 or so balls, they haven't budged, and I like the idea of being able to re-adjust them for location, or even fold over a bit more material if it stretches. (and we didn't need to sew anything!)
Also, I've left the 2 feet of extra material folded behind on the left edge, and figure that I can bring it into service to shift over the worn spot in the future.
Hope my excitement works out longer term - so much easier than having to commit to a sewn in set of straps, hoping to maximize your screen area - AND allow for stretch.
Anybody tried these before??
