its not you hitting the walls at all its the echo of the shot that I am talking about blankets or something would do to absorb noise, Think of it this way take your hammer and drop it on the plywood and do this on drywall it is very different the same goes for the driver to ball shot but not that exaggerated, I think after an hour or so your head would be killing you and you might be reaching for ear plugs as 5 sides are bouncing off the sound. just food for thought.

I'm gonna have a 10x10 screen on the wall so hopefully I won't be hitting the wall often lol... I'll probably never hit anything but the ceiling with a lob wedge, I'm more worried about people who come over to try it out... I'm going to pad the walls or something in those areas, just haven't figured out with what yet.

Got some more work done. Room is wired for surround sound and electrical is done. Room is also insulated, paint has started outside, just gotta finish up some pieces before starting inside ceiling and walls. Need to figure out what to do for side walls and ceiling, gonna use plywood instead of drywall but still need ideas for protection in those spots. Any ideas are welcome....

with that much space available, I would go wider. you don't want people standing behind you while you hit
